Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to analyze the model of evangelism in Acts 1:8. There are two prevailing views on this evangelism model: linear geographical evangelism and simultaneous evangelism. This study uses a qualitative method with a hermeneutic approach. The results show that Acts 1:8 is not a geographical map of evangelism. The simultaneous evangelism model aligns with the Great Commission in Matthew 28:19-20.

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisi model pemberitaan Injil dalam Kisah Para Rasul 1:8. Selama ini ada dua pandangan tentang model penginjilan tersebut, yaitu penginjilan yang bersifat linier geografis dan penginjilan yang bersifat simultan. Penelitian ini dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan prinsip-prinsip hermeneutik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Kisah Para Rasul 1:8 bukan sebagai peta penginjilan yang harus diikuti secara geografis. Model penginjilan secara simultan sejalan dengan Amanat Agung dalam Matius 28:19-20.
