PENTINGNYA KARUNIA PENGAJAR DI DALAM GEREJA

Abstract

What a teacher does is often to be identified with education institution like school, from elementary to high level. If it is related to spirituality, so it would be identified as Christian Religion Education teacher. Those are not wrong, because the act of teaching mainly is a duty of teacher, including Christian Religion Education teacher. They have responsibility of faith education in a form of teaching Christian values at school. Nevertheless, the one who teach is not always understood as a teacher at school, because teaching activity is also taken place at church, even at home.

Father and mother, essentially, is a teacher for  their children. They are responsible to engraft Christian values as family identity in the midst of society. Though children get religion education at school, or in Sunday School, yet parents’ giving of spiritual education is the most important.

Teaching is the most important part at church. Sunday service is always filled by God’s word teaching through sermon. In Sunday School, the one who take a duty teaching God’s word from Bible is called Christian Religion Education teacher. They do one of some ministries in church, that is teaching. Teaching could be a gift that is given to someone for conveying basic Christian faith which sourced from Bible. It means, a gift of teaching is an important thing in church, because can determine church growing in future.
