Siapa yang Bertanggung Jawab atas Tulah Kesepuluh? Sebuah Pertimbangan Etis-Teologis Terhadap Teks Keluaran 11-12
Abstract
Abstract. The story of the tenth plague in the narrative of the liberation of the Israelites from Egypt in Exodus 11:1-12:36, cannot be used as a paradigm that applies to all situations and conditions, including the situation when the Indonesian people were facing the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic. The text seems to be the encounter of various theological thoughts related to theodicy, monism and dualism. Therefore, what needs to be done is a close reading of the text to disclose its difficulty. Instead of spending energy trying to figure out who is responsible for calamities or pandemics, it is better to deal with them by following health protocols and using common sense.
