Etika Sosial dalam Imamat 19:18 sebagai Landasan Praksis Sila Kedua Pancasila
Abstract
Abstract. This article discusses how the principle of social ethics in Leviticus 19:18 can relate to the humanitarian values contained in the second principle of Pancasila, namely "Just and Civilized Humanity." This research uses a textual hermeneutic approach with Mahatma Gandhi's social ethics as its analytical lens. The result of the study showed that the prohibition of revenge and holding grudges in the heart and the command to love others demonstrate a social ethical structure rooted in relationships and responsibilities between community members. These values are in line with the principles of the second principle of Pancasila which emphasizes justice, human dignity, and social responsibility. Thus, Christians are called to uphold the values of Pancasila not only in the normative level but also in social practice.
