Abstract

Pentecostalism is still having some warm discussions, either in biblical conceptualizing or empirical phenomenon. Denomination of Pentecostal has been striving to show validity of their theological practices through some approaches. Textual reconstruction (Acts 2:1-13), by which the phenomenon was appeared by, is undertaken for acquiring a strong and valid standing point.Even a comprehensive study of Book of Acts would still relevant and actual to gain a more precise and logical understanding of Pentecostalism.This study aims to show and prove at once the validity of the Pentecostal theology—which the foundational standpoint is on the book of Acts—by substantial understanding of Luke’s historiography in Acts. This study uses a qualitative approach with a Greek’s literary (Hellenic) analysis method and its influence on Luke’s writing.
